We analyze thousands of products sold through major online retailers, such as Amazon and the Apple App Store. We evaluate the number of customers that reviewed each product, their average rating, and other data, such as the product's earnings, purchase/download volume, price, availability and release date. We also screen for fake reviews and other indications of ratings fraud.

Usually, we feature the top product after conducting this assessment. Sometimes, we select another top item if it is especially noteworthy or worth getting.

Finding the most popular products available takes a lot of effort. We support our work through affiliate commissions. When a MostPopular.xyz visitor clicks on a product we list, and then buys a product from that retailer, we usually earn a small commission from the retailer at no extra cost to you.

Because of this arrangement, some retailers, such as Amazon, prohibit us from displaying rating and price information. When this is the case for a given product, we display a small button that looks like this View Rating + Price. The button links directly to the product's page on the retailer's website, where you can view its rating and price. Rest assured, the product is highly rated and has met our criteria.
